Italy is gorgeous. I want to head back there, though it was a huge culture shock for me being an American. Small cars, no take-out drinks, limited air conditioning — it takes some getting used to! The scenery, food and culture were certainly something to take in and remember forever.

Nearly >>anywhere<< you go in Italy, contains eye popping history and art…….testaments to what people did with the time, BEFORE the internet. masterpieces abound………marble fountains everywhere……
every style of architecture you can imagine…..craftsmanship, like you’ve NEVER seen.
I was just at a church in Palermo……..all inlaid marble.—–the ENTIRE church……….it made my head spin just thinking about how maddening all that craftsmanship must have been………(I use to work in a rock quarry here!) You gotta be kidding me!
How did they DOOOOOOOOOO all this?????????? It boggles the mind.
Truly…….like stepping back in time……..when people really place EFFORT into craftsmanship. Ya can’t go incorrect in Italy………no matter where you look.
Milan, Rome, Firenze, Pisa, Sicily. Venice……..they’re ALL jewels…….one, more dazzling than the next.
