Travel to India with valid visa on an expired passport?
Is it ok to take my ancient US passport with valid Indian visa and the new one for travel to India?
I have a new valid passport, but my visa is in my ancient expired one. Can I take both passports to travel to India?

If you are flying from the US to India, you need a valid passport. You will have to renew yours
It’s normally OK to travel taking both your new passport and the ancient one with the still-valid visa, but check with your nearest Indian consulate to be safe.
