I’m plotting to spend three to six months in England and want to get a job while I’m there to help pay for my trip. Do I need a visa in order to work? If so, how do I get one?

I guess it depends on your nationality, if you are an EU citizen, I don’t reckon you need one, but if you are a non-EU, you certainly need a work permit…

If you are from outside the EU then you need to have a work permit, enough finance to be able to support yourself whilst you are here without recourse to public funds, and you also need to show that you have a return ticket to whence you came…without those it’s doubtful that you would be allowed entry to the UK.
Have a look at this site for all the info you need…

Depends on where do you came from…
