What is the best and/or cheapest way to travel from Valparaiso, Chile to Buenos Aires, Argentina?
Wondering if you know of a cheaper (and more fun!) way of crossing the continental divide than by plane.

Now seriously, you might try taking a Bus, but it is going to take you around a day to get to Buenos Aires.
1. Go to the central bus station at least one day before you plot to go, if not more.
2. Go from company to company and find out what day they leave and how much it costs. I believe there are several direct buses leaving there.
3. Buy your ticket to reserve your spot.
If you are lucky you can get on a bus the day you want to leave.
