How much does it cost to travel from Quito, Ecuador to Chile on bus?
I will be traveling this summer and want to know a rough estimate of how much it costs for a bus ticket from Quito to Chile (not exactly sure what city yet but for the sake of simplicity we can say Santiago!) I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Just a rough estimate:
1. Quito to Peruvian border: $15
2. Cross Peruvian border on foot, get in colectivo to Tumbes. $4
3. Tumbes to Lima. Excellent busses with bed $45
4. Lima to Tacna, buscama $45
5. Colectivo across border with Chile to Arica ~$10
6. Arica to Santiago (very long ways) ~ $50-$75
Total rough estimate: $120-145
