Google the Chilean Embassy website and you will find the information you need there.
Hi
Yes, you can bring your laptop. Make sure it’s yours, not groundbreaking new, and you’re not bringing more than one and you will be fine.
When your plane lands, just follow the signs to immigration. Just before immigration, you will see some signs pointing to the place where you pay the entrance, or reciprocity, fee. Sometimes there will even be someone to direct you, otherwise just follow the signs, which have a US flag (among other countries). After that, you will go through immigration, where you will be granted your tourist visa.

Have a fantastic trip!
Follow signs in the airport-duh
You will pay your entrance frees upon entering Chile ( the free is also your VISA ) My wife and I was in Chile in April 08. By the way the Chile Pecos is at 4.55 to the U.S dollar.
Delight in,
