Neoprene mask, elastic band with velcro… it’s minimalist and effective. Honestly comfortable, folds or rolls up for simple storage when traveling. Also it works much better than the small complimentary satin sleep masks from international airlines. Though a padded sleep mask would provide more comfort or more complete coverage, this mask avoids the flaw of padded versions which force you to sleep on your back (unless you want to tolerate a lot of pressure on the eyes and face when face-down).

These are fantastic because they don’t press up against your eye, but they are fantastic at keeping out the light of a flickering TV screen. My husband accidentally washed them with the sheets, and now the fabric is coming off of the neoprene, but they wore well until then. I like these things & are buying a second pair insead of replacing it with fake satin something that makes me sweat in the summertime…
