I am trying to choose between the Magellan Mestro $600 bucks or the Tom Tom $200. There is a huge price difference and I want to know which one is better.

Hi Toogie,

I prefer the Garmin Nuvi 350 at about $360 http://amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/002-0785581-4678427?initialSearch=1&url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=nuvi but between the Tom Tom and Magellan I would say the Tom Tom isn’t as excellent but the Magellan isn’t three times as excellent. I don’t know which model of the Maestro you are referring to. The 4040 is only about $350 and it is near the top of the line. You can see it here – http://amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/002-0785581-4678427?initialSearch=1&url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=magellan+gps
