Text-To-Speech
The text-to-speech feature of the nüvi 260W means that device automatically calls out street names (saying “turn right on Main Street” instead of “turn right in 200 feet.”). This feature lets drivers keep their eyes on the road while navigating through busy traffic and tough roadways.

I bought it for my boss who never figured it out so it’s sitting in a box in his office.

I purchassed this product new from Amazon the garimn 200w was new out of the box and it did not work after calling garmin and being place on hold for over 15 min i was told that there was not a thing could be done that i had to send it back at my expenss and they would replace it with a rebuild one this is not right i paid for a new one and should recessa new one to replace the refurbiss one.if this is way you do business i with not buy from you again

It is a nice toy to play with and delight in but any driver with road sense usually would not need one.

The Garmin came in record time. It appears to be in fantastic shape. I will hope that it is all that we expect of it after we use it. Since, it is a Christmas gift, I won’t know until after Christmas how it will really perform.
