I reckon he had a terrible host.
You should never feel obligated to buy drinks for someone although its a nice gesture for being place up for free.
It sounds like his host’s roommate was either unaware he sleeping or not a couchsurfer.
Generally blankets, and a reasonable understanding of when people are sleeping and when they’re having a excellent time singing radiohead at 4am is something to discuss with a prospective host.
God damn, agreed. He snuck out?? Ffs. All my hosts have been just incredible, and even if they weren’t you don’t go calling it bohemia, film their toilet and then sneak out. He couldn’t hack 1 not-even-rough night? Eh it was probably just a tale he made up.
Pueblo Ingles could have used more credit too. I reckon he was looking at it from the eyes of a guy there to do his job, film his interviews and get out.
And Spain’s recession? Uh..

I can’t stand this guy…Go back to the Alpha Beta Greek Society where you came from and leave couch surfing up to people who delight in experience and are gritty enough to not bitch about a roof and shelter
